September 2020 Debt Payoff Progress

Where Did The Time Go?

What happened with September?

Seriously. Where did the time go?

I cannot believe we are in the last quarter of what has been a *whirlwind* year.

I have been so busy. One of the newest ventures I have started is a YouTube site called Black Millennial Finance.

It is an extension of the blog where I share positive affirmations and tips on money and mindset.

I have also started a really cool series called “In The Middle” where I speak with millennials in the middle of their debt pay down or wealth building journey. Check out the very first episode here: Generational Wealth Building With Troy @ The Dollar Duo

The Nitty Gritty

I track my progress towards my debt payoff journey using Personal Capital and the debt snowball method.

If you have any loans you are trying to get rid of, grab the personal finance bundle mentioned below. It has been KEY in helping me track my debt payoff journey.

CURRENT DEBT TOTALS

  • Student Loans = $4,800
  • Car Loan = $10,445.60

Total Debt As Of Sept 2020: $15,245.60

Thought On Progress

Every time I see the balance going down on my student loans, I do a happy dance. December marks 4 years since I graduated with my MPH.

I look forward to finally paying back these loans and crossing this milestone off my financial bucket list.

Going Forward

I truly could not have had a better start to my October. First, my primary goal for this month is to blog more (3 articles this month).

Second, I also want to reach out to some amazing millennials to be featured on my “In My Middle Series”.

What are some milestones you are hoping to crush in the upcoming month/quarter?
