July 2022 Debt Payoff Progress

Originally, I had taken out $21K for my car and $25K for grad school, thus bringing my total loans to $46K. By the time I started documenting my debt pay off journey I had paid off over $15,000. However, I still owed ($13,957.01) on my Honda Civic and I owed ($17,329.96) from grad school loans.

CURRENT DEBT TOTALS

THOUGHTS ON CURRENT DEBT TOTALS

When I first started my debt free journey, I was super focused on becoming debt free as soon as possible. I thought it would take me 12 months to pay off approximately $31K but the universe had other plans for me. One month into my journey, the Covid 19 pandemic started and we all know how that went.

The good news is that I can finally see the end of this journey in sight. To know that I owe less than $3,000 on my loans makes be ecstatic.

I am definitely going to be able to have this paid off by the end of the year. This means that I will officially be debt free at 30. *Cue Happy Dance*
